Two weekly 2-hour sessions, one on one, hands on mentorship course
Certification
On successful completion of the course, the student/trainee will receive a certificate from Miner Construction stating the course completed and have added additional experience to their portfolio
AutoCAD Basics and 3D Model Building
- Understanding basic AutoCAD interphase
- Learning 2D Command Functions (Old school draughting; Creating and Editing Lines, Circles etc.)
- Introduction to Model Space and Paper Space
- Learning 3D Command Functions (Current draughting world; Creating and Editing 3D Objects)
- Annotation Commands (Dimensioning, Texts and Notes, Hatching)
- Basic Understanding of Layers (Using, Creating & Editing Layers)
- Creating a 2D Drawing from a 3D Model
- Using a 3D Model as an x-ref
- Introduction to Creating 3D Model Part Assemblies
- Detailing of Mechanical Items (e.g.: Gearbox, Submersible Pump, Sump Pump, Plummer Block, Winch, Feeder, Conveyor Drive)
